About Bri

About Bri

Brianna Maitland was born on October 8th, 1986 in Burlington, Vermont. Her parents, Bruce
and Kellie Maitland were both 25 years old at the time and already had a son together named
Waylon. The Maitland family lived in a farmhouse on Boston Post Road in Franklin, Vermont.
They lived an "off-the-grid" lifestyle. Brianna grew up without modern conveniences including
a stove, microwave, or television. Her unconventional upbringing, as well as her adventurous,
confident personality and originality, lead her friends to see her as their beloved "backcountry
hippie chick". She popped popcorn using a wood stove, tore her Jeep Wrangler on rural dirt
roads, and loved any outdoor activity. She could track wild animals through the woods and
tended to the family horses and cows. She was extensively trained in the Brazilian martial art
of Jiu Jitsu. She loved her pets, a wrinkle-faced Sharpei named Lau and a cat named Muffin.
Her most prized possession at age seventeen was her light green 1985 Oldsmobile Sedan 88
Royale, which previously belonged to her grandfather Tommy Fisher.

Brianna was described as bubbly, free-spirited, and charismatic. Three of Brianna's friends say

they met her because Brianna had introduced herself to them on their first day of school when
they knew no one. She was also descried as unashamedly sentimental, someone who hugged
and kissed her friends and decorated the interior of her car with handwritten notes from
them. She never forgot a birthday. By the time she was in high school, Bri had blossomed
into a head-turner. She was described by friends as "the hot girl", the most beautiful girl in
Franklin. She was lean and leggy with shiny brown hair, hazel eyes, and a bright smile. While
she had the style and charisma of a grown woman, Brianna was still a teenage girl. She was
silly and carefree. She had an affinity for funny hats.

Brianna's young age also made her prone to naivety, poor judgment, and being taken
advantage of. Friends and family agree in hindsight that Brianna wanted to see the very best in
people, and at times was a poor judge of character as a result. Her mother recalled on the ID
Discovery program Disappeared, "she would stop for a hitchhiker, even against my advice.
And yet one day I come home from work, and she picked up a hitchhiker, a teenage boy, and
there he was in my living room, waiting for a ride from someone else. But she was a person of
compassion".

  1. A Crawl Space Waterproofing in Atlanta room is a source for any kind of property owner. It makes for very easy access to some utility devices and also can also be made use of for storage. Nonetheless, one of the little unknown usages for a crawl area can be its skill for contaminating your residence's interior air top quality.
